Piled foundations, rafts and slabs can be affected by ground movement caused by volume changes in swelling clays due to clay type and moisture variation. Changes in the weather and vegetation also often affect ground moisture levels. To overcome the problem, Max Frank is pleased to announce the launch of its cellular void former, Pecavoid®.
To reduce uplift pressure on concrete slabs, rafts and piled foundations, Pecavoid® Concrete Slab (CS) and Concrete Beam (CB) are designed to compress when ground movement takes place. Manufactured from interlocking sections of expanded polystyrene, it is lightweight and easy to install.
Pecavoid® is the latest addition to Max Frank's groundworks product range and can be used in conjunction with Pecafil® permanent formwork and associated products.
For more information please refer to the datasheet in the Service Box.
Pecavoid® materials are not moulded and are produced in an ISO 9001:2008 approved factory.
